What is instruction based art ? - Its a way of interpreting art from a list of instructions that has been given by an artist, these instructions could either be consisted of a long complex list or a short simple list .

Yoko Ono is a Japanese multimedia artist born on February 18th 1933 who is most well known for her work during 1960's called "instructional pieces". These included pieces of instructions for the viewer to follow. Her work is designed to redirect our attention to ideas, instead of appearances. Some of her Instruction paintings were exhibited at AG Gallery in New York, that was exhibiting canvases with instructions attached to them.
SOL LEWITT
Solomon Lewitt was born on September 9th 1928 and was an american artist who was linked linked to various movements, including Conceptual art and Minimalism. LeWitt’s instruction-based artworks may be his most recognisable. For these projects, LeWitt hired individuals to construct installations based only on his instructions. Lewitt's created "instructions" which became work themselves as he created the design but left the actual building to others.He has been the subject of hundreds of solo exhibitions in museums and galleries around the world since 1965.
The instruction I was given "Capture your idea of an piece of fine art" . This instruction seemed as though it was meant to have one perception which was something physical such as a piece of art but I looked at it in another perception, so I thought about a natural creation that were surrounded and will always be seen as beautiful which is gods creation - the world, human species.These photos show the sun setting including the silhouette of hands against the pastel sky.
